Work is also now completed on the section of new-build between the Undercroft and the North Quire Aisle providing both storage and green room facilities and enabling the beautiful pillared and vaulted Undercroft itself to be opened to the public for the first time. An Interpretation Centre has been installed in this space and we have received a major grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to assist with this element of the Development Project

Luckily I cannot find a picture of the renovation to include, so we will be left with our imagined frescoed Crypt to enjoy.
